Notes for Fire Proof and Explosion Proof in Operation:
(1) Overload operation is prohibited: long-term overload operation will cause coil heating and gradual aging of insulation, resulting in short circuit.
(2) Regularly inspect the quality of insulating oil: regularly test
the insulating oil and replace the unqualified oil in time or take other measures.
(3) Prevent the iron core of the transformer from insulation aging and damage, long-term heating of iron core will cause insulation aging.
(4) Prevent the accidental damage to the insulation due to careless maintenance. if scratch damage occurred, timely treatment should be done.
(5) Ensure good contact with the wire, poor contact causes the local overheating.
(6) Prevent lightning stroke, the insulation of the transformer will be destroyed due to breakdown.
(7) Short-circuit protection: Transformer coil or load short-circuit, if the protection system causes the failure or protection setting value is too high, it may burn the transformer. For this purpose, a reliable short circuit protection unit must be installed.
(8) Well-protected ground connection.
(9) Ventilation and cooling: If the transformer coil wire is A-class insulation and the insulator for the coil wire is paper and cotton yarn-based. A rise of 8 ℃ in temperature will reduce about half of the insulation life; The transformer runs below the normal temperature 90 ℃ and its service life is about 20 years; If the temperature rose to 105 ℃, then service life is 7 years. The operation for transformer should keep good ventilation and cooling.
