With the progress of technology and material, the application proportion of dry transformer is increasing day by day. There are some special precautions for dry transformer installation.
1. Unpacking inspection before installation
Transformer when unpacking the case, check whether the packing is in good condition, check whether the transformer nameplate data comply with the design requirements, the factory if the file is complete, the transformer is in good condition, whether there are external signs of damage to the parts whether displacement and damage, electrical support or there is no damage to wire, finally checking the spare parts for damage and shortage.
2. Transformer installation
First of all, check the transformer foundation to check whether the embedded steel plate is level, there should be no holes under the steel plate to ensure that the transformer foundation has good anti-seismic and sound-absorbing performance, otherwise it will increase the installed transformer noise.
Then, the roller bar is used to move the transformer to the installation position, remove the roller, and adjust the transformer to the design position.
Finally, four short channel steels are welded on the four corners of the transformer base, that is, the embedded steel plate, so that the transformer does not move during the use.
3. Transformer connection
The minimum distance between the charged body and the charged body to the ground should be guaranteed when wiring, especially the distance between the cable and the high-voltage coil. High current and low voltage bus should be supported separately. It cannot be directly pressed onto the transformer terminals, which will generate excessive mechanical tension and torque. When the current is greater than 1000A (for example, 2000A low-voltage bus used in this project), there must be a soft connection between the bus and the transformer terminals.
To compensate the thermal expansion and cold contraction of conductor, and isolate the vibration of bus and transformer. The necessary contact pressure must be maintained at the electrical connections at the wiring points. Elastic elements (such as disc-shaped plastic rings or spring washers) should be used. Torque wrenches should be used when fastening connection bolts.
4. Transformer grounding
The transformer is connected at the base of the low-voltage side, and a special grounding bolt is introduced, which is marked with the connecting landmark center, through which the transformer's grounding must be reliably connected to the protective grounding system. When the transformer has a shell, the shell shall be reliably connected to the ground system. When the low-voltage side adopts the three-phase four-wire system, the neutral wire shall be reliably connected to the ground system.
5. Check before transformer operation
Check whether all fasteners are loose, whether electrical connections are correct and reliable, whether the insulation distance between charged bodies and charged bodies to the ground conforms to the regulations, there should be no foreign matter near the transformer, and the coil surface should be cleaned.
6. Commissioning before transformer operation
(1) check transformer ratio and connection group, measure dc resistance of high and low voltage winding, and compare the result with factory test data provided by the manufacturer.
(2) check the insulation resistance between coils and coil to ground. If the insulation resistance is significantly lower than the measured data of the equipment, it indicates that the transformer is affected by moisture. When the insulation resistance is less than 1000 Ω/V (operating voltage), the transformer must be dry processing.
(3) the test voltage of the voltage withstand test should meet the requirements. When doing the low-voltage withstand test, the temperature sensor TP100 should be taken out, and the sensor should be put back in place after the test.
(4) when a fan is installed in the transformer, the fan shall be powered up and run normally.
7. Trial operation
After careful inspection before the transformer is put into operation, it can be electrified for trial operation. Special attention must be paid to the following points during the trial run. There is no abnormal sound, noise and vibration. There is no burnt odor and other abnormal odor. There is no local overheating caused by discoloration. Ventilation is good.
